Current development is focused on improving the usability of this applet
- Make the menu fonts customizable
- Simplify the addition of favourite apps
- Make applet aware of the orientation of the panel (vertical or horizontal)
- Popup on vertical side (left or right)
- Simplify the plugin management tab (Make a list, where a plugin being in the list implies "available" and being
ticked implies "active")
- Simplify the configuration interface (related to above point)
- Migrate to a using GNU Autotools
- Improve theme loading and handling (Lose the "Load Theme button")
- Improve the customisability of the "open" commands. Specifically, make them Desktop-environment specific, covering GNOME, KDE, and XFCE and provide an option for a custom command
- Icons for the tabs in the configuration dialog
